With 12 years of experience, Michelle recently achieved the prestigious title of "Irish Wedding Photographer of the Year 2024" at the Irish Professional Photographers and Videographers Association Awards. “Having my images scored by a panel of expert judges throughout the year and receiving 3 prestigious gold awards was an achievement in itself. I was excited for the awards night. But I never dreamed of being called onstage 3 times to take home 3 trophies, winning each wedding category on the night. I simply love what I do and to get that kind of recognition for my work is a true honour. I’m drawn to people and their humanity in fleeting moments. There is so much beauty in humans, our vulnerablility, empathy and love. I seek this out on weddings days. From the moment I arrive, I’m immersed with your close family and friends, the most important people in your life. I’m instantly surrounded with the beauty of human connection.…hugs, tears, a discreet hand squeeze and big belly laughs. It’s food for the soul and the camera loves it all!
I live at the foothills of the Dublin mountains with my husband Dave, our two year old Kya and our fur baby, Buck. We spend a lot of our family time on nature walks, cooking (and dancing) in the kitchen, and watching old movies. Some of my favourite things are getting lost in a good book with a nice glass of red, travelling to new places, good food and even better company. My people are the most important things in my life, family and friends is what it’s all about. I’m a total romantic and find myself in the most perfect job. I get to couple my love of photography with my love of people.
To me, a great photograph is one that makes you feel something.
I have captured about 500 weddings in a 12 year period. As a result, I’m able to guide my couples in the lead up to their wedding day. I offer advise on your wedding day timeline and how to optimise the time you get to spend with your loved ones while also getting your photographs covered.
Over the years, I’ve had the honour of winning over 80 awards from the IPPA (Irish Professional Photographers Association) for my photographs. This year I won the overall Wedding Photographer of the Year 2024.

Teaching & Mentoring
I began speaking at photography workshops and mentoring other wedding photographers in 2018. It’s a pleasure to share my journey with others and coach some of Ireland’s very talented photographers in the wedding industry.
