Betsy & John’s Kilshane House Wedding
Betsy and John met in Covent Garden in London 4 years ago. Their first date was in an Irish pub and Betsy was late. There was a definite spark and they decided to move in together a year or so later whilst on holiday in Thailand and it went from strength to strength after that. They got engaged on holiday in Mexico. John proposed on day 3 after chickening out on the first two nights!! He went down on one knee after a lovely meal on the balcony, under the stars. Betsy and John fell in love with Kilshane House on their first visit. "it felt like a home from home for the weekend and all our guests loved it". "We wanted a humanist ceremony that reflected our values and we liked the feel of a more traditional ceremony whilst still representing us. Geraldine O'Neill was our celebrant and she was absolutely wonderful. She got the balance of seriousness, fun and warmth. It was such an incredible part of the day".On their favourite part of the day; Betsy- "There were so many, but highlights include saying our vows, a bit of time on our own having our photos taken and dancing the night away with all our friends and family". John- "The build up and anticipation of Betsy walking down the aisle and being able to relax after the speeches and enjoy the night- a bit of grub and a few laughs".
"Michelle and Shane were both fantastic, they were so easy to have around and we barely noticed they were there but they managed to capture everything! They were so relaxed yet professional. We love our wedding video (www.shaneprunty.com) and the photos are absolutely stunning- so natural and unposed which is exactly what we wanted".
